Today’s Lunch

One large bell pepper
Five links hot Italian sausage
Two handfuls of orange grape tomatoes
Four cloves of garlic
Dried green onion to taste
Caned red gravy (enough to just cover the dish)
bread crumbs, salt, pepper

In frying pan, cook sausage thoroughly. Meanwhile, chop bell pepper and saute in small pot, add grape tomatoes, salt, pepper, and garlic. When everything is hot, cover with red gravy and sprinkle with bread crumb let cook until sausage in done, stirring occasionally. When sausage is cooked drain and remove as much grease as possible, slice all links into diagonal rounds. Cover with the red gravy and vegetables. Serve warm with pita or crusty bread.
