The Hunger Games,  by Suzanna Collins, Scholastic Press Publisher

her next two in the series Catching Fire, 2009 and Mockingjay, 2010.

This has to be brief… but there is much thought and feelings in this book.

This book is about survival contest, live TV in which teenagers fight to the death. There were others like this years ago but with adults instead of young teenagers and today on TV we have many lighter played out survival games. The characters are all well written and you are concern about them. They want you to believe they are training them to survive for a purpose other than entertainment but it’s all about entertainment. (ratings doesn’t that sound familiar) The two main characters Katniss and Peeta are thrown together and to survive make the audience believe they are in love, or are they truly in love. You want to keep reading continue with their adventure and their trials. This was a good read.
