From Cory’s “lone note” to Alastair’s “Caw”, Anna Marie draws you in and makes you feel like a welcome visitor at Whiskey Bay. She trickles out information (and gossip) in perfect doses that keep you mildly intoxicated from beginning to end. Colorful and entertaining, Mrs. Baker’s Ghost is a well written story by a very talented author.

What a wonderful story! The characters seemed to pop out in my head as I read and I could just picture the scenes. The author is extremely talented and I cannot wait until Jayi’s Tales comes out so I can read more about Mrs. Baker, Cory, and Jayi’s adventures! And love the recipes at the back of the book! Definitely a book I would recommend to my family and friends!

If I pass away young please celebrate my life with gleeI do fear my death will be painful for me by all the pain I endure on a daily basis, although I’m not done existing in this wacky world of ours

Now this book could be a tv series and I would be one person that wouldn’t miss it each week.  Anna Marie and I would be on the edge of our chair one minute and laughing the next. Being set in New Orleans, the author didn’t over play the city with cliche’ at every turn;  the police were not hicks either.  Just a good book, fast read with murder, suspense and a dash of paranormal  and romance.

I think there is a second book ..I will report back soon.

I think everyone will enjoy this book by a local Louisiana author. MC

update

Well, I finally got book one read, since I actually started with Merry Merry Ghost, book two. I think I really enjoyed Book Two more.. not sure why.  Same lovely character Bailey Ruth but the story was more embracing in book two.

I want to believe that after we die, we may get to come back and help other people who are living, or get a second chance to do it better. I realize that we are too selfish with our time and don’t think of  friends and family therefor… just let time drift away till it too late.

I will go look tomorrow or the next day to see if there is a book 3. Yes, this series is nice enough to read at least another one. Can’t wait to see what Bailey Ruth aka sometimes Officer Myrna Loy,  gets into next.

Currently I have just started Ghost in Trouble, book three. MC
